Customer Market Report Thursday 10.05.2007

Our fundraising packages are going absolutely crazy, if you are involved in an organisation that needs funds contact us soon our schedule is quickly filling up.

Market Report.

- seedless melon is having a great season with quality
- Fuju fruit are on the scene - similar to a persimmon and you can eat them hard with the skin on.
- Tomatoes are better than last week but still dear.
- Bananas plantations aren't coping well with winter, it looks like they could be scarce for a while. We are doing Bananas at $2 a bunch.
- New season imperial mandarins are available and very nice!
- Oranges are in full swing and dont get much better than now!
- Rockmelons are between seasons and won't be available this week.
- butter and cos lettii are all in good form!
- Broccoli is fantastic this week and is available for everyone!
- Green beans are great quality this week too.
- Red capsicum are scarce this week and probably won't be available.
- Red crimson grapes are small, very crunchy and delicious
- Swedes and parsnip are available if selected, great to bake or put in a winter soup!
- desiree potatoes are still unavailable.
- Haas avocadoes are eating very well
- Local corn is crunchy, juicy and delicious
- Sweet Potato and celery are both plentiful and tasty
- Strawberries are through the roof
- Kiwi fruit is available in boxes for a little extra and are well worth it
- Granny Smith and Fuji are the best apple around
